So this is what I get for giving up 2 1/2 years of my life (and up to 40 days a year for the next ten years), doing something which I don't want to do, and quite literally risking my life and limb in the process.

It gets worse. We're going to reach the point where foreigners make up over 50% of the total population in a few generations(assuming there isn't a sudden economic depression the the foreigners leave in droves). And our children will be risking life and limb and having 2 years of their lives taken away, to defend these foreigners.

erhm conscription.... i tot mindef is forever recruiting one? i think it is to cut cost. those serve for 6-7 years contracts not renewed cos if keep them must give more salary. so they recruit new pple all the time to replace the outgoing (newbies r cheaper).

question is.. is it better to be 2nd class citizens here or be 4th class PR/citizen in a foreign country... Confused

we have this bigass expensive IT system.. and when i want to submit my ICT unrecorded leave, i have to do it using hardcopy because the stupid system cannot handle it Laughing

just how much money we threw into the IT systems which are lousier than the paper, i don't know Razz

and the clicky which allows a search has only time-off-in-lieu

looks like it's an uncompleted job which was passed off as finished and accepted by numbskulls which don't know different

on the subject of bad software, you should see the software we're forced to use for webpages. its so fucking bad its unbelievable. the first version was so buggy you could not save anything when using main editing screen in fullscreen mode. Switching back to the tiny window caused all changes to be lost. and guess what, when the issue was raised they 'solved' the problem by removing the full screen mode so now we all have to squint at the tiny window Laughing

sort of reminds me of Pol Pot.. he executed all the 'unemployed' and claimed that the country has 100% employment...

but then, the 100% employment = slavedrivers and cannon fodder in the killing fields..
